Coloring on Kraft – Camp Create 2 MFT Challenge

with No Comments

Here we are again with a new Camp Create challenge from My Favorite Things! These challenges are definitely keeping me from losing my creative streak this summer, and are helping to keep me experimenting and trying new things. Today’s challenge was to color. It didn’t have to be on kraft paper, but that was what I did anyways. I had previously tried to stay away from colouring on kraft paper, because the colours don’t usually come out how you expect them to, but I like how my colours turned out this time! I definitely experimented a bit before I committed to colours.

To make this card, I cut my standard size card stock in half length wise to create a top folding card (11″x 4.25″). I folded my card in half at 5.25″. I cut a plaid patterned paper from Lawn Fawns paper kits to 4.25″x 5.25″ to cover my card front. I then used another piece of kraft paper and die cut it to have a stitched border around it. I used the My Favorite Things Cool Cats stamp set to create my images and for my sentiment. My markers are Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers. Of course the card was finished off with some matching sequins!

Thank you for stopping by to check out my challenge project. I will be back hopefully with 3 more projects for the Camp Create challenges!
